Physician David Posnett, who also makes jewelry using stones and sea shells he finds on the beaches of East Hampton, took it upon himself to walk the length of every single beach in East Hampton Township which, in addition to the village of East Hampton, includes Amagansett, Montauk, Springs, Wainscott and part of Sag Harbor.
